Quick support
Need a fast overview?
RxConnect helps clinicians create e-prescriptions, review patient history on the same
workflow, store clinician-specific notes in PMR, and route prescriptions to Chobham
Pharmacy or to the patient for collection elsewhere.
What is RxConnect?
RxConnect is an e-prescription platform that connects prescribers, clinics, patients,
and pharmacies in one workflow. It supports patient selection, PMR review, note
taking, electronic prescription creation, tracking, and dispensing visibility.
What login options are available on the main page?
The main page presents three main login paths in the center of the page: Dispense
Prescription, Prescriber Login, and Clinic Login. There is also a separate Chobham
Pharmacy login shown on the side for Chobham-specific access.
What is the separate Chobham Pharmacy login used for?
The Chobham Pharmacy login provides a dedicated access path for Chobham operations.
It supports direct pharmacy-side handling of prescriptions that are routed to
Chobham through the platform.
Who can create a clinician account on RxConnect?
Healthcare professionals such as clinicians may create an account, but prescribing
access should only become active after successful verification and approval.
What verification details are required for clinicians?
Verification may include clinician details, a copy of valid ID, and the relevant
professional number such as GMC, GPhC, or another required healthcare registration
number depending on the user type.
Are clinician accounts approved automatically?
No. The intended process is manual verification unless a bullet-proof automated
verification method exists. This helps keep the platform safer and more reliable.
How do clinics join the platform?
Clinics may join by contacting the platform team and completing a manual review
process. The clinic structure can then include clinic-level access plus clinician
sub-logins where applicable.
What information is needed to register a clinic?
At minimum, the clinic should provide its clinic license, clinic name, and an admin
user for that clinic so the account can be reviewed and approved before activation.
Can one clinician have both a clinic login and a personal login?
Yes. A clinician may have two logins: one tied to a clinic if working under that
clinic, and one personal login for their own independent access.
Can clinicians save patients under their own login?
Yes. Clinicians can see patients and save patient details under their own login so
their working list stays organized and relevant to their own practice activity.
Are clinician notes private inside the PMR?
Yes. The notes stored in patient medical record for a clinician are intended to stay
private to that clinician. Other clinicians should not be able to view those private
notes.
What can a clinician do before issuing an e-prescription?
The clinician can review the patient profile, save or access prior patient details,
make notes and diagnostics, and then issue an electronic prescription from the same
workflow for better continuity and productivity.
How is the prescription code sent after prescribing?
After issuing the prescription, the clinician can send the unique code to the
patient through text message and email, or route it directly to the Chobham Pharmacy
portal login.
How does another pharmacy access the prescription?
The external pharmacy can go to RxConnect, enter the patient’s prescription code and
date of birth, then view the prescription and its status to advise on stock and cost
availability before dispensing.
Can the prescriber track prescription history and dispensing status?
Yes. The prescriber can review consultation and prescription history, see the status
of the prescription, and view where the prescription has been dispensed.
How does RxConnect help make a clinician’s work more productive?
RxConnect reduces switching between disconnected steps. A clinician can choose the
patient, review history, keep PMR notes, issue the prescription, send the code, and
later track status and dispensing location through one connected platform workflow.
